After spending some, a student shared via “time lapse” what was left of her 500 pesos
TIME LAPSE – A female student took to social media to share what was left of her 500 pesos after spending some in a short period of time.
Money is one of the most important resources we have in our lives. It allows us to meet our basic needs, such as food, shelter, and clothing, and also gives us the ability to pursue our goals and dreams. However, despite its importance, money has one major flaw – it runs out fast.
No matter how much money we have, it always seems like we need more. We may start the month with a healthy bank account balance, but as the days pass, we find ourselves spending money on various things – groceries, bills, entertainment, and so on. Before we know it, we’ve reached the end of the month, and our bank balance is looking rather sad.
There are many reasons why money runs out fast. One of the main reasons is that we often underestimate how much things cost. We may think that we can get by on a certain amount of money, but then unexpected expenses crop up, or we find ourselves spending more than we planned on something.
Another reason why money runs out fast is that we live in a consumer-driven society. Everywhere we turn, we are bombarded with advertisements and messages telling us that we need to buy this or that product to be happy or successful. It’s easy to get caught up in this mindset and overspend on things we don’t really need.
Finally, money runs out fast because many of us don’t have a solid financial plan in place. We may have some vague ideas about how much we should save or invest, but we don’t have a concrete plan that we stick to. This can lead to overspending, impulse purchases, and an overall lack of financial stability.
Speaking of which, a student named Kisha Somiller Torrecampo recently went to social media wherein she posted a “time lapse” of her money. In the first photo, she can be seen holding a five hundred peso bill while in the second photo, she can be seen holding several pieces of coins.
Her post went viral with more than 45k shares as of posting. Many said they could relate on her post.
