Camille Prats Speaks On Returning To Acting After 5 Years

Camille Prats on her acting comeback: “Ang hirap kalaban ng nerbiyos, parang naba-block lahat ng emosyon”

CAMILLE PRATS – The “AraBella” star recently spoke about returning to acting after a 5-year hiatus.

The actress appeared on Tuesday’s episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” where she revealed the reason why she chose “AraBella” for her acting comeback.

She also shared her acting technique in the TV series, saying that she uses “real life situations” as one of her acting techniques and she also creates scenarios using the people who are very close to her.

According to her, she felt nervous, had a lot of crying scenes, and had a hard time memorizing lines in the script. The actress-host also shared that she grew a wealth of experiences in her 5-year acting hiatus.

Nagkaroon ako ng malaking bangko. My family grew, there were so many memories build in those five years,” Camille told Boy Abunda. “So every time I try to create scenes in my head, andami kong pwedeng paghugutan ng saya ‘tas ginagawa ko na lang siyang drama aspect in my head, like I create dialogues.

Camille went on to share that she applies her acting technique on “AraBella” wherein she plays the role of “Roselle”.

In the same interview, the actress told the King of Talk that she’s trying to relate to her character “Roselle” who lost her daughter.

Nawalan ng anak itong si Roselle. I have kids, I have a daughter, and [as Roselle] I lost a daughter,” the actress said. “So ‘yun talaga ‘yung parang una kong ginamit na idea in my head like, ‘what if I lose Nala for real?’

During the “fast talk” portion of the show, Tito Boy asked Camille about her greatest achievement and she responded, “My family”.

Camille Prats and VJ Yambao, who tied the knot in 2017, celebrated their 10th anniversary as a couple last December 2022 and marked their 6th wedding anniversary last January 2023.
