Ashley Ortega: “If you’re a figure skater meron talagang expiration age at ako expired na expired na.”
ASHLEY ORTEGA – The “Hearts on Ice” star recently admitted that becoming an Olympian is just a dream for her.
The figure skater used to join international and local figure skating competitions before she became an actress. However, joining the Olympics is just a dream for her as she’s busy with work as an actress.
Ashley was asked in an interview on “Updated with Nelson Canlas” podcast about her dream of becoming an Olympian. According to her, it’s just a dream for her.
The actress added said that it’s impossible for her to join the Olympics and she’s late to become an Olympian.
“Ayon, hanggang pangarap na lang siguro. I think it’s kinda impossible na, I’m so late, I’m too late to be an Olympian,” Ashley said. “If you’re a figure skater meron talagang expiration age at ako expired na expired na.”
Ashley also shared that she was still 10 or 11 years old when she stopped joining figure skating competitions, which would be the ideal age for her to enter the Olympics. She also explained that a figure skater must be at the “senior level” at the age of like 16 or 17 or 18.
