Vice Ganda Reacts to ‘Open Letter’ of a Teacher Over Yormeme Joke

Here’s the reaction of Vice Ganda on open letter of teacher over his joke as Yormeme

VICE GANDA – The comedian reacted to an open letter of a teacher over his joke as “Yormeme.”

It was just recently when a segment of It’s Showtime made a buzz online after “Yormeme” joked that he will forbid teachers calling students who do not raise their hands during recitation as well as forbid those who have reviewed to take an exam.

However, the joke did not sit well with a teacher. In an open letter, the teacher said that this “effective strategy creates an expectation that all students are ready to answer every question”. The teacher added: “This has been proven to promote attention, engagement, and participation.”

The open letter reached Vice Ganda and he immediately responded. The comedian agreed with the points of the teacher. However, he has a reminded that “Yormeme” is a running joke and whatever he says are wrong.

Hanga po ako,” he tweeted.

Vice Ganda hoped the teacher wouldn’t take the joke too seriously. He also reminded the teacher that it’s okay to have a sense of humor at times.
