Sunshine Cruz: “Sabi ko nga kay Cesar, ‘Magpakabait ka na d’yan kay Kath’”
SUNSHINE CRUZ – The actress recently spoke about her reconciliation with her ex-husband, actor Cesar Montano.
Sunshine Cruz and Cesar Montano tied the knot last 2013 and have three children together — Angelina, Samantha, and Angel Francesca. Their marriage was annulled last 2018.
In an interview with Boy Abunda, Sunshine remarked that her reconciliation with her former husband completed the missing piece in the lives of their children.
The actress also relayed in the same interview that she even gave advice to her ex-partner when it comes to his current relationship. Kath Angeles is the current partner of Cesar Montano.
“Sabi ko nga kay Cesar, ‘Magpakabait ka na d’yan kay Kath — napakaganda, napakabait. Napakaswerte mo,’” Sunshine told Boy Abunda. “‘Mag-behave ka kasi kung hindi makakaaway niya kaming lahat ng mga anak ko.’“
In the same interview, Sunshine also spoke about her breakup with her ex-partner Macky Mathay. According to the actress, she didn’t talk about their separation since there were kids involved.
Sunshine also said that she chose to be quiet because the public didn’t know what they were going through or what she has been through. She didn’t go into details about their breakup, but she shared that trust was gone in her relationship with him.

The actress also shared that she’s currently focusing on the good things in her life – including her family and work.
“I’m sure merong ibang plano si God para sa ‘kin and kung ano man ‘yon, hihintayin ko. Kung merong dumating, okay lang. Ang importante, nandiyan ang mga anak ko. Mahal ako ng mga anak ko,” the actress said. “I have work. ‘Di ako nawawalan ng proyekto and that’s all that matters. I’m blessed.”
