WESTLIFE – A Filipina who took a selfie without realizing the members of the popular boy band were in the background elicited mixed reactions from netizens.
Westlife is considered one of the most popular boy bands in the world. The group currently consists of Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan, and Nicky Byrne. The group disbanded in 2012 and later reunited in 2018. They are behind the hit singles; My Love, I Wanna Grow Old With You, Why Do I Love You, If I Let You Go, and more.
It was just recently when they held a concert at Asia World Arena in Hong Kong. After their concert, they stroll around the city. On Instagram, Shane Filan posted a snap of him at the Victoria Harbour.
The photo he posted in the social media platform, earned more than 51k likes as of posting. One thing that netizens noticed is the woman in the background. Some netizens claimed that the girl is a Filipina.
Then, a Facebook page, DREAM Discover Explore, took to the social networking site posting a screen capture of Shane’s IG post. A photo of the said woman who photobombed the singer was also attached in the said post. This time, the members of Westlife were seen in the background.

Some internet users speculated that she was unaware that the boys behind her were Westlife members. Others claimed she didn’t recognize them because there are so many foreigners in Hong Kong.
