Ruffa Gutierrez Speaks on Marriage with Yilmaz Bektas
RUFFA GUTIERREZ – During her interview with Korina Sanchez, the actress-beauty queen called her ex-husband, Yilmaz Bektas, her “true love”.
One of the Filipino celebrities who is living a celebrity life since she was just a child is actress-beauty queen Ruffa Gutierrez. She was born in the Philippines but she lived a part of her childhood abroad. It was after their father, Eddie Gutierrez, received an offer in showbiz that they decided to return in the country.
Ruffa was part of several hit projects. Her journey into becoming a young lady, the times spent on the field of beauty pagents, and her settling down unfolded before the public’s eyes. She married Turkish businessman Yilmaz Bektas in 2003.
Yilmaz Bektas and Ruffa Gutierrez were blessed with two (2) daughters, Lorin and Venice. There is only a small gap in the ages of their daughters as she got pregnant with their second child only 7 months since she gave birth to her first-born. They lived in Istanbul, Turkey.
However, Yilmaz and Ruffa’s marriage did not last. They separated in 2007 and their marriage was annulled in 2012. Their girls lived with the actress. Meanwhile, Lorin and Venice recently had a reunion with their father abroad.
Recently, Ruffa Gutierrez appeared as a guest for the vlog of Korina Sanchez. During the interview, she shared how Yilmaz Bektas courted her and their life together as a married couple.
According to Ruffa, Yilmaz courted her in grand gestures and he was always where she is since they first met. He also courted her parents and, being a kind and sweet guy, he had their approval.
The actress-beauty queen admitted that settling down opened her to a lot of challenges. She had a lot of adjustments with regards to living with a husband and submitting but she is vocal that she did everything she can for their marriage to work.
Ruffa Gutierrez even tagged Yilmaz Bektas as her “true love” whom she gave and sacrifice everything for. She also stressed that she was able to do the things she thought she cannot do for their family to stick together.
According to Ruffa, she has no idea if she will be able to feel that kind of love she had for their family then again. Meanwhile, she stressed that if Yilmaz is her true love, she knows that her “forever love” will also come. Here’s the interview posted on YouTube:
