Daughter of beauty queen Rachel Peters figured in a “freak accident”
RACHEL PETERS – The daughter of the Miss Universe 2017 finalist figured in a “freak accident.”
The former beauty queen recently went to social media wherein she shared a “freak accident” her daughter got involved. It happened while they are vacationing in Japan.
“Kaia got a pretty nasty burn on her hand from pulling hot tea off a table. A freak accident and a big learning experience for us all,” she said.
Despite the “horrible start to a trip” she’s thankful to all the nurses and doctors who kept on checking her daughter everyday. On the other hand, Rachel Peters is proud on the bravery manifested by her daughter.
The beauty queen is also thankful for all the message she received, especially those who are expressing their concern toward her daughter Kaia. But she assured that her child is now okay. Last week, Rachel publicized that she’s pregnant on her second baby with husband Migz Villafuerte.
Meanwhile, Rachel Louise Obregon Peters-Villafuerte is a Filipina-British model, host, and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe Philippines in 2017. She represented the Philippines in the Miss Universe 2017 pageant, finishing as a Top 10 semifinalist.
Peters began her pageant career on October 11, 2014, when she competed in Miss World Philippines 2014 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila. She finished fourth and lost to eventual winner Valerie Weigmann. She was also named Yahoo Readers’ Choice and Miss Alluring.
