It doesn’t matter if the singer isn’t as good as Celine Dion or Whitney Houston, to name a few, as long as the singer can enjoy the vibes and indulge in the music.

Apparently, not all Filipinos are gifted singers. But why are some so good? It’s most likely due to culture, as most families have their own karaoke machine at home. In this way, they may improve their voice and possibly become good singers.

Speaking of, a man singing Blakdyak’s hit single “In Lab” is currently making rounds online. His rendition was posted on social networking site, Facebook by Street Boys member Joey Andres. Watch the video below

His rendition had gone viral, garnering more than 600k views as of posting. It also earned mixed reactions from the netizens. Many expressed their admiration to his voice. Many said that he sounded like late singer Blakdyak.

The man in the video singing the popular song of Blakdyak is identified as Erwin Guina also known as “Taong Grasya.” He’s popular online with his song covers.

Meanwhile, Blakdyak, whose real name is Joseph Amoto Formaran, was an actor, comedian and reggae singer. He was known as “The King of Pinoy Reggae”. Aside from the song In Lab, he’s also behind the hit singles “Good Boy” and “Noon at Ngayon.” He passed away in 2016 at the age of 47.
