A Korean website called Dispatch has featured Kim Chiu
KIM CHIU – The actress and It’s Showtime host was overjoyed after being featured in Dispatch, an online Korean entertainment media outlet.
Kim Chiu, whose real name is Kimberly Sue Yap Chiu, is an actress, model, host, singer, dancer, and vlogger. She is known as Philippine showbiz’s “Chinita Princess” and was once hailed as the “Princess of Philippine Movies and TV” for three consecutive years.
Her showbiz career started when she she won the first teen edition of the reality show Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) at the age of 16. Then, she starred in the television series Sana Maulit Muli, My Girl, Tayong Dalawa, Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo, My Binondo Girl, Ina, Kapatid, Anak, Ikaw Lamang, The Story of Us, Ikaw Lang ang Iibigin, Love Thy Woman and to name a few.
She’s one of the mainstay hosts of the Kapamilya noontime program, “It’s Showtime.” Recently, she went to social media platform, Instagram wherein she shared her excitement after being featured in a Korean website, Dispatch.
On her IG post, she posted a some screenshots of the article about her. Her post was accompanied by the caption: “Woke up to this!!!! KINIKILIG AKO!!!!! Hala @koreadispatch news realness!!! OMG!!!! I’m shaking!!!”
Chiu said she is extremely happy to see the feature because she is a major K-pop lover, however she is aware that people might think she is overreacting. In the same tweet, Chiu expressed her delight at “Dream Maker,” which ended its run on Sunday, and said she was still on cloud nine about it.
Chiu and Ryan Bang are the co-hosts of the survival competition show “Dream Maker,” where the top 7 competitors will make their South Korean debut as an idol group.
