Vice Ganda excited to have a baby
VICE GANDA – The Phenomenal Box-office Star and his partner Ion Perez are ready to have a baby.
If the TV host-actor was hesitant to have his own child through surrogacy back then, now he feels very different about this matter. Vice admitted that he had no plans to have a baby, but suddenly his decision changed, especially when the model-actor came into his life.
“Surprisingly, gusto ko nang magkaanak. Dati as in no-no ako diyan,” Vice said in an interview with former Manila Mayor Isko Moreno via his YouTube vlog.
He is said to be researching the surrogacy process, which perfume magnate Joel Cruz go through in order to have several pairs of twins. “Dati talaga no-no kahit nga ‘di biological kahit biological, no-no talaga ako. Ayoko kasing i-subject ‘yung magiging anak ko sa social injustices, sa discrimination,” the comedian said.
When asked when he realized he wanted to be a parent too, he said: “Bigla lang, ‘Ay gusto ko nang magka-baby. Wala na ‘kong pakialam sa sasabihin nila. Ang mahalaga na lang ay ibi-build ko ‘yung personality ng magiging anak ko; ‘yung character niya.”
According to the Kapamilya TV host, they planned to consult with some experts in America last year for the said process. And it is said that surrogacy may cost more than P5 million to P9 million.
“I didn’t have the luxury of time to pursue kasi ang dami kong ginagawa,” Vice said hoping that he would be given the opportunity to have a child.
Vice Ganda admitted that he can already feel the excitement of having a baby in their house. If he were to ask, he would prefer to have a baby girl.
