In the January 13 episode of the Kapamilya noontime show, Vice Ganda and his co-hosts talked about things they wanted to thank in life. They spoke about it during the opening segment of the program.

For Vice ganda, people should not only thank the good things happening in life but also appreciate the negative things happening along the way. According to him, people should realize that God has a reason why there are challenges in life.

Then, Vice Ganda gave some hints about a certain person he talked to who’s going to return to their noontime program next week. “May kausap nga ako kaninang madaling-araw, e,” he said.

“Sabi ko, ‘Bitbitin mo yang excitement mo. Sa sobrang mabibigat ng pinagdaanan mo last year, ang pinakamaganda namang kasama niyan, e, sinamahan ka, kinampihan ka at pinaniwalaan ka ng madlang pipol, kaya bitbitin mo yang excitement mo, pagbalik mo sa Lunes,” he added.

Many believed that Vice Ganda is referring to Vhong Navarro, who last appeared on the show on September 2022 before he surrendered to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) after Taguig Metropolitan Trial Court Branch 116 issued a warrant of arrest in connection with acts of lasciviousness filed by model Deniece Cornejo.

In the afternoon of September 19, 2022, he was detained at NBI facility after a Taguig court issued a warrant of arrest over r*ape case filed by Cornejo. He was transferred to Taguig City Jail on November 21, 2022. But on December 6, 2022, he was temporarily freed after posting bail (P1 million).
