Sunshine Dizon clarifies post about a scammer
SUNSHINE DIZON – The award-winning actress took to social media wherein she apologized over her now-deleted post about a scammer.
Sunshine whose real name is Margaret Sunshine Cansancio Dizon is an award-winnin actress, director and producer. She is often called as the “Daytime Drama Queen” by various media outlets for her acting prowess and a string of local hit series.
Dizon received her first acting honor as a child actress at the renowned FAMAS Awards in 1995, becoming known as a “seasoned thespian” in both the Philippine TV and film industries. She received a Gawad Amerika Award in 2017 for her outstanding work in “Ika-6 Na Utos.” She was recognized as one of the “TV Queens at the Turn of the Millennium” at the PMPC Star Awards in 2019, and is best known for her notable roles in Encantadia, Impostora, Bakekang, and Ika-6 na Utos, to mention a few.
On April 30, 2021, Sunshine Dizon returned to ABS-CBN despite the denial of its legislative broadcast franchise renewal. One of her first projects in the networking is the Dreamscape Entertainment series Marry Me, Marry You, which also stars Paulo Avelino, Janine Gutierrez, and Jake Ejercito.
In 2010, Dizon married a businessman Timothy Tan. However, after 6 years of marriage, they separated after the actress found out that her husband had an affair with another woman.
Recently, she went to the social media platform, Instagram wherein she posted a series of claims about an unnamed scammer. According to her, the said scammer owe millions from others.
Apparently, she deleted her post. In her latest post on the said platform, she apologized to those who were affected and cleared the name of her ex-husband Timothy Tan, a businessman.
