Many cultures around the world prefer to carry a load on their heads rather on their backs, shoulders, or other body parts. Since the beginning of time, people have carried loads perched on top of their heads, mostly for daily tasks but occasionally for religious events or as a display of talent, like in some dances.

To carry something with your head, you must first find your balancing point. Then, stand tall and keep your chin lifted at a natural angle parallel to the floor, not too high or low.

Keep your head up as you practice putting something, such as a book or a small box. Stand there and move your head around a little bit, just to find that sensation so you can feel whatever it is you’re balancing on your head. If you feel more at ease, try walking around and increasing your speed slightly.

Doing as such is also common among women in the Philipines. In fact, a certain Franz-Josef Javier recently spotted a woman carrying a soft drink using her head while using her phone at the same time.

Javier took to social media particularly on the Facebook page, Homepaslupa Buddies 3.0 wherein he shared what he saw. Watch the video below:

As of posting, the video has gone viral, garnering more than 50k views. It also generated mixed reactions from the netizens.

One netizen labeled her as the “Royal Queen”. This might be due to the soft brand (Royal) she’s carrying. Another netizen lauded her for even decending from the upper level of the footwalk to the lower part.
