DOC KRIZZLE LUNA – The content creator and registered medical transcriptionist gave an update about her condition after sustaining injuries from car accident.
Doc Luna is a Medical Post-Graduate Intern and registered Medical Transcriptionist. She rose to fame via video-sharing platform, TikTok, wherein she has over 6 million followers. In the said platform, she usually shares some health tips, especially reproductive health.
It was on Friday, January 20 when the content creator was involved in a vehicular accident. Luna and her fellow content creator and dentist Ezzy Algabre were traversing Marcos Highway in Baguio City around 3 a.m. when a truck lost its brake and hit their pick-up vehicle.
Doc Krizzle Luna sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital. Recently, the TikTok doctor posted a video of herself updating her followers on her health status since the car accident.
In the first part of a video, she apologized to her followers for not providing an update over the past several days, but she also let them know that her surgery was a success. Although the physicians were able to realign her spine, she was still unable to fully move her hand.
The content creator also admitted that she is still unable to move her legs in any way. Luna stated that longer therapy sessions are necessary for her to recuperate. She also expressed gratitude to her family, friends, and the medical staff who were in charge of her care.
“Magandang balita naman po, naging successful po ‘yung operasyon ni Doc Luna. Na-align naman po ‘yung aking spine. Mahaba-habang rehab pa po, So far, malaki naman po ‘yung improvement natin,” she said.
In the last part of her update, Doc Krizzle Luna warned the public to scammers posing as her in order to solicit money. The TikToker made it clear that she wasn’t requesting money, just prayers.
