Bea Alonzo: “I can never be friends with somebody I cannot trust”
BEA ALONZO – The Kapuso actress admitted that she cannot be friends with ex-boyfriend Gerald Anderson.
In an interview via Fast Talk With Boy Abunda, the showbiz-oriented talk program of Boy Abunda on GMA-7, Bea was asked about her past. At one point, Boy asked her: “Kaya mo bang makipagkaibigan kay Gerald, not now but in the future?”
To which she responded: “Hindi, because I can never be friends with somebody I cannot trust and somebody who doesn’t take responsibility for his actions. So, siguro hindi.”
The Kapuso actress also admitted that she was hurt when Boy interviewed Gerald on March 5, 2021 about their controversial split up. In the said interview, Gerald stressed that he did not “ghost” Bea. This is contrary to what the actress said was the reason for their breakup. According to Bea Alonzo, the actor indeed ghosted her.
Bea clarified that she’s talking about it right now because she’s being asked about her past with Gerald. The actress also said that she understood Boy Abunda and accepted his apology since the veteran television host said said that when his one-on-one interview with Gerald happened, he thought of what might Bea would feel.

Meanwhile, the two are now happy in their respective partners. Bea is in a relationship with Dominic Roque while Gerald is in a relationship with Julia Barretto.
