Alex Gonzaga: “Yung mukha kang matapang sa harap ng maraming tao pero ang bilis mong masaktan”
ALEX GONZAGA – The actress-vlogger couldn’t help but turn emotional in her latest podcast.
Alex, whose real name is Catherine Cruz Gonzaga Morada, is one of the country’s most popular celebrities. She’s also well-known on social media for her self-titled YouTube channel, which is one of the most popular in the Philippines.
The sister of actress-host Toni Gonzaga started her showbiz career via the ABS-CBN sitcom, Let’s Go, where she played the role of Alex, which also became her personal nickname. It was in 2008 when she transferred to TV5 and became one of the hosts of the talk show, Juicy! Five years later, she returned to ABS-CBN and has been one of the hosts of the reality show, Pinoy Big Brother (PBB).
Alex Gonzaga is married to politician Michael “Mikee” Morada. Now, she has been busy with her vlogs and newly launched podcast.
In her latest podcast, she talked about the criticisms she’s receiving on social media. At one point, she couldn’t help but turn emotional.
“Mahirap siyang aminin sa sarili mo na, I’m a weak person. Yung mukha kang matapang sa harap ng maraming tao pero ang bilis mong masaktan. Pag may sinabi sa ‘yo or may ginawa sa ‘yo yung isang tao, parang apektado ka pero ayaw mong maging ganoong klaseng tao, ayaw mong masabihang ‘Mahina ‘yan eh…” she said.
Alex revealed that she was keeping and resolving numerous issues privately, unwilling to discuss them with anyone- not even with her husband.
