Dogs are among the world’s most common and popular domestic animals. It has lived with humans for over 12,000 years as a hunting companion, protector, object of scorn or adoration, and friend, which is why they are considered “man’s best friend”.
They are regarded differently in different parts of the world. They are used as guards, beasts of burden, or even food in some parts of the world, whereas dogs are protected and admired in the United States and Europe. On the other hand, they were considered sacred in ancient Egypt during the reign of the pharaohs.
Meanwhile, an adorable puppy seemingly acting like a sleepless mother has gone viral. In a series of images shared on social media, the cute dog from Taytay, Rizal, amused internet users by acting erratically like a mother who can’t sleep.
Choco, an 11-month-old Dachshund puppy, always sleeps with the doll by his side, suggesting that he has a real affection for it.
In an interview with the Philippine Star, uploader Jonathan Espela said: “Palagi niya nginangatngat yung doll hangang sa nakatulugan niya nalang nang katabi niya. Hilig kasi nya matulog sa sofa namin and gusto nya pa nakaunan pa siya.” He added: “Sobrang lambing po ni choco and sobrang mabait.”
