The mother of KZ Tandingan is now a registered nurse
KZ TANDINGAN – The singer took to social media wherein she posted a congratulatory message to her mother Marites Lobrigas Tandingan after passing the Nurse Licensure Examination.
It was just recently when she went to social media wherein she posted a congratulatory message to her mom for passing the Nurse Licensure Examination.
“Today, 18 days after, the results came out, and I’m so proud to share that my mom, 56 yrs old, MARITES LOBRIGAS TANDINGAN is now a REGISTERED NURSE,” she noted.

Meanwhile, KZ Tandingan or Kristine Zhenie Lobrigas Tandingan-Monterde real life, is a singer and rapper hailed as Asia’s Soul Supreme. She rose to prominence following her win on the first season of The X Factor Philippines in 2012. Before she joined the competition, she was part of a local acoustic band.
That same year, she received the Aliw Award for Best New Artist. She has released notable songs in the Philippines, including “Darating Din,” “Mahal Ko o Mahal Ako,” and “Two Less Lonely People in the World,” which peaked at number two on the Philippine Hot 100 in 2017.
Tandingan, along with Yeng Constantino, Kyla, and Angeline Quinto, was a member of the all-female supergroup DIVAS. She rose to international prominence after competing in Singer 2018, a popular singing competition broadcast on HBS.
