In the video that has gone viral online, a certain Red Parunquin shared how he was mocked by his former classmate for being a security guard (SG). He was on duty, which appears to be at a subdivision when he came across his classmate during elementary and high school.

According to him, his ex-classmate was in his vehicle and when the latter opened the window of his car, the security guard found out that it was his former classmate. He even salutes his classmate, to show his respect.

Then, his classmate asked: “Oh guwardiya ka?” The latter even asked if he finished his studies.

His classmate asked him why he ended up being an SG though he was among the top students in their class during their elementary and high school days. The guard felt ashamed after hearing the laughter of his classmate and the people on board the vehicle.

His classmate even introduced him to his wife, while belittling him for being a security guard. Hoping to end their conversation, he let his classmate pass the gate but before he can even go, his classmate insisted on giving him a 200 pesos tip, which he refused to accept.

His classmate then told him that if he has time, he could pay a visit to his house and talk about their reunion. Eventually, their conversation ended.

According to the security guard, he felt bad about himself when his classmate continued mocking him for being an SG. But for him, it’s just okay because there are people who get lucky in life while there are some who are not.

The security guard stressed that he was doing his best and he was not an “isang kahig, isang tuka”. He’s also proud of being a guard. In the last part of the video, his encounter with his classmate was one of the reasons why he lost interest in attending the school reunion.
