In a media interview in Cambodia, the President said that he enjoyed the taste of Cambodian food when he visited to Cambodia.

I liked it all. I’m afraid medyo ano ko, I’m an enthusiastic experimental when it comes to food. And then in the lunches, meron silang mga binibigay para ‘yung mga local dishes. So yes,” the President said.

According to a report, the President said that it was only during his 3rd day, the Gala Night on Saturday, when he’s able to savor the taste of Cambodian food. According to him, the dishes served were similar to Filipino food.

His response came after he told reporters last November 9 that he’s excited to try the street food in Cambodia. At that time, the President said that he likes to travel and so he ended up “trying everything”.

To recall, the President went there to attend the 40th and 41st ASEAN Summits and Related Summits.

Aside from eating Cambodian food, President Bongbong Marcos also said that it was a tiring experience not just for him but for the other world leaders who attended the summits.

He shared that he and other world leaders who attended the summits were getting more and more tired as they’re sitting there for longer hours.

But you know, it has to be done. It’s okay. I mean, you know. Nobody died from honest hard work,” the President said.
