Actor Christopher Hemsworth is from Australia. He gained notoriety for his role as Kim Hyde in the Australian television series Home and Away before starting his Hollywood film career. Hemsworth began portraying Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) in the 2011 movie of the same name, and most recently, he reprised the role in Thor: Love and Thunder, making him one of the highest-paid actors in the world.

Star Trek, Snow White and the Huntsman, Red Dawn, Blackhat, Men in Black: International, Extraction, A Perfect Getaway, and Ghostbusters are just a few of the action movies in which he has appeared.

It was just recently when he revealed in an interview on Good Morning America that he was at risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease. Prior to that, he underwent a genetic test for an episode of his newly launched National Geographic series Limitless.

The most common type of dementia is Alzheimer’s disease. It is a progressive disease that begins with mild memory loss and may progress to loss of ability to converse and respond to the environment. Alzheimer’s disease affects brain regions that control thought, memory, and language.

According to him, his biggest fear after knowing that he’s at risk for Alzheimer’s disease is that he won’t be able to remember the life he had experienced as well as his wife and kids. However, the talented actor chose to remain optimistic in order to make the most of his life at the time.
