On March 11, 2022, Joyce was on board the bridal car when she received a video call from her lecturer, Prince del Rosario.

It turned out the latter wanted to greet her for her “double victory”.

In the video she posted on social media, she can be seen getting off the car, hugging her mom, and crying.

She was wearing a white gown and is holding a flower bouquet.

“Natakot ang nanay ko sa aking pag-iyak. Akala nila na 1,2,3 ako,” she noted as the caption on her post.

At one point, she sat down on the floor and cried her heart out like a child.

Jolina finished her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from The Adelphi College – Lingayen in Pangasinan on October 2019.

She’s the youngest among her six siblings and she’s the only one who finished college.

But after graduating, she was not able to take board exams immediately after they were postponed due to the pandemic.

Then, she got pregnant but was able to balance her time to review for the Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET).

To make the long story short, she was able to pass the board exam.

She learned about it during her civil wedding day.

Her husband works as a seaman and they were blessed to have a child.
