ASHLEY RIVERA – The actress who started out as internet sensation Petra Mahalimuyak called out Siargao to have health facilities following the death of a tourist/fan.

Siargao is dubbed the Surfing Capital of the Philippines. The tear-drop-shaped island features white sand islets, pristine beaches, and other natural wonders. Siargao Island is regularly rated as one of the top 10 surf sites in the world and it is the home of Cloud9, the name of the most famous wave in the Philippines.

But the island is in hot water following the death of a tourist/fan of Petra Mahalimuyak. It was just recently when the actress took to the social networking site, Facebook wherein she shared that she lost a fan there.

The actress complains about the lack of medical facilities on the island which is supposed to have saved the life of the fan. Apparently, it was not mentioned how the latter passed away. She was only informed about it through a direct message from the friend of the bereaved.
