Aljur Abrenica on Kylie Padilla: “Almost every day nag uusap kami”
ALJUR ABRENICA – The actor admitted that he’s talking to his estranged wife, Kylie Padilla, almost every day.
It was just recently when the actor sat down in a one-on-one interview with entertainment journalist Aster Amoyo. In the said interview, the actor made a hint that he isn’t closing any doors to rekindling his relationship with his estranged wife, Kylie Padilla.
The 32-year-old Kapamilya actor also disclosed that during their breakup, both of them suffered pain. He acknowledged that even though they are no longer together, Kylie still plays a role in his life.
He doesn’t think the past has already determined how the present will be. Aljur observed that because he had never shut a door, anything was possible.
Aljur revealed that they work hard to improve their skills as co-parents. They have been learning from one another how to prioritize their children’s needs, he said, and they’ve been doing this together.
“Sa co-parenting kami nagfofocus ngayon kasi iisipin niyo na ‘yung mga bata eh. Almost every day nag uusap kami. Kahit hiwalay kami, we’re still learning from each other how to be good parents,” he said.
It was on December 2018 when Aljur and Kylie got married. But in July last year, they decided to split up. The two agreed to a co-parenting setup for their sons Alas and Axl.
AJ Raval, the daughter of action star Jeric Raval was accused as the third party in their breakup following their romantic photos that surfaced on social media. They were even spotted holding each other’s hands while walking at the mall.
However, Kylie clarified that AJ is not the reason behind their separation. The issue seemed to have ended following Kylie’s interview with Jessica Soho on KMJS.
