REGINE VELASQUEZ – The Asia’s Songbird made a stunning performance from the rooftop of Ormoc City Museum during a free concert.

More or less 60,000 watched the free concert of Regine and Ogie last October 20, 2022, at Ormoc City Stage.

The concert titled “Shine: The Diamond Concert” was held amid the celebration of the 75th Charter Day of the said city where Lucy Torres-Gomez was the mayor.

The free concert started with a blast brought by the special participation of El Gamma Penumbra.

It was later followed by Ogie’s rendition of “Nandito Ako.”

When Regine sang the song “Narito Ako” from the rooftop of Ormoc City Museum, the crowd couldn’t help but went crazy.

The free concert ran for more than two hours with the performances of OgRe whether solo or duet.

Congressman Richard “Goma” Gomez sand a song as well together with Regine and Ogie.

Dubbed Asia’s Songbird, Regine has been in the showbiz industry for 35 years and is recognized as one of the most popular female singers in the country.

Her singing career started when she won the Bagong Kampeon of RPN-9 in 1984.

Aside from singing, she also ventured into acting as well as hosting.

Regine Velasquez moved to ABS-CBN in October 2018, after a two-decade stay with GMA-7.

At present, she’s happily married to singer and songwriter Ogie Alcasid and they were blessed to have a child named Nathaniel James.
