Netizens react on the comparison of Kiko Pangilinan with the price of goods in Thailand and Philippines
KIKO PANGILINAN – The former senator took to social media wherein he shared some glimpse of his trip to Thailand wherein he saw the big difference in the price of goods in the said country and in the Philippines.
When he went to the market there, he couldn’t help but compare the price of vegetables, meat and seafood in Thailand with the Philippines.
According to him, the price is cheaper in Thailand than in the Philippines, which is said to be possible because they have a bigger budget for agriculture.
Kiko Pangilinan said that in Thailand, a kilo of garlic is 50 baht or 85 pesos while the a kilo of onion is 35 baht or 60 pesos.
In the Philippines, on the other hand, a kilo of onion is 400 pesos while garlic is 300 pesos.
He added that in Bangkok, Thailand, a whole dressed chicken is from 75 baht or P127 to 80 baht o P136 while in the Philippines, it cost as much as P190 pesos.
