Basel Manadil or popularly known as “The Hungry Syrian Wanderer” is a famous vlogger who chose to stay in the Philippines.

He’s well-known for helping less fortunate Filipinos and even considers the country as his second home.

Aside from being a vlogger, he’s also a businessman.

He’s the owner of the restaurant called YOLO located in Las Piñas, Metro Manila.

It can be recalled that it was in March when his resto was robbed.

At the time, he shared that someone broke into their shop, stole some cash and things, and then messed around the shop.

According to him, that incident was unexpected and he felt bad for his employees.

Apparently, there was no update regarding the thief who stole from their restaurant.

This time, he caught his employee stealing from his restaurant.

In a video he posted on the video-sharing platform, Instagram titled “I Got BETRAYED”, he shared how he confronted his employee.

His employee did not confess at first but when the vlogger told her that she was seen on CCTV, she couldn’t deny it anymore.

The employee claimed that she only did it once but after reviewing the CCTV footage of her act, they found out she did it more than ten times.

His video confronting the employee earned mixed reactions.

“As an unemployed adult, if I were given a chance to work for a boss like you, I would cherish it my whole life,” a netizen said.

“Fire her if she stole from you multiple times. She can’t be trusted. She can be a threat to your business and to your family’s safety,” another commented.
