Ruffa Gutierrez: “You’re now a young lady!”
RUFFA GUTIERREZ — The actress recently took to social media to share a message for her daughter, Venice Bektas, on her 18th birthday.
Venice celebrated her 18th birthday last September 11. She shared a photo of herself on her social media account to mark her special day.
The same photo was also posted by her mother on her Instagram account. In the caption, Ruffa said that her daughter is already a young lady and told her to soar high, to follow her dreams, and to travel the world.
“Happy 18th birthday my cutie pie, @venicebektas. You’re now a young lady! Soar high, follow your dreams and travel the world! I love you!” she wrote. “PS: Are you excited for our Eurotrip?“
Venice commented on her mother’s social media post, saying that she can’t wait to travel with her.
Prior to this, Ruffa shared a photo on her social media account wherein she — wearing a toga as she graduated from the Philippine Women’s University — was seen hugging her daughter while facing the camera.
“On September 11, 2022, this beautiful soul turns eighteen. Are you ready for my baby, @venicebektas? Let’s show her some loveeee. #Venice18” she wrote at that time.
PUSH reported that Venice opted to have an intimate dinner with her family Rather than going for a big party to celebrate her 18th birthday. In her post on her Instagram Stories, Ruffa shared that Venice requested for a European trip.
Among those who greeted Venice on her special day were Janine Gutierrez, Chesca Montano, Raymond Gutierrez, Sarah Lahbati, Richard Gutierrez, Angelina Cruz, and her sister Lorin.

Lorin and Venice reunited with their father in Istanbul last June. The two had the opportunity to meet up with their father after 15 years of being separated from each other.
Ruffa shared in a previous interview that she had been on speaking terms with ex-husband Yilmaz Bektas for the sake of their daughters.
