Attempted theft in Bacolod caught on CCTV
ATTEMPTED THEFT – A man was caught by CCTV footage attempting to rob a 2-storey apartment in St. Francis Village, Barangay Taculing, Bacolod City around 12 midnight, Friday, September 23.
CCTV stands for closed-circuit television and is commonly known as a surveillance camera.
They are commonly used to detect and deter criminal activities and record traffic infractions. They are also a big help to villages looking after their security and safety.
There are CCTVs present almost anywhere in the country.
Recently, a man who attempted to steal from an apartment in Bacolod was caught by CCTV camera.
It can be seen in the CCTV that the man is wearing blue shorts, a black t-shirt, and a black face mask.
The complainant stated that although there were people in the apartment, the man still managed to climb.
According to the complainant, the thief did not get anything.
Apparently, he left his black slippers behind.
The owner of the apartment will file a blotter report of the incident amid the many reported thefts in the area.

While some were alarmed by the incident, there were netizens who have taken it lightly.
A netizen said that despite his criminal act, he’s still compliant with the safety protocol, by wearing a facemask.
Another netizen said that he’s like a “real-life Spiderman.”
Some netizens took notice of his flexibility.
On top of the hilarious comments, the majority wanted the thief to be caught and leave him behind the bars.
