It was just recently when Julia appeared on the morning variety show Lunch Out Loud (LOL) to promote her film with Carlo Aquino titled “Expensive Candy.”

In the Maritest segment, Julia was asked by Matteo who is among the male actors being linked to YouTube content creator Bella Racelis.

According to her, it was her ex-boyfriend Joshua Garcia.

When Matteo confirmed that her answer is correct, the segment flashed some of the viral photos of Garcia and Racelis.

“Oh that’s nice, that’s nice. Good for the both of them,” she said. “That’s good. That’s good. Masaya tayo.”

When asked if she approve the two, she said: “Approved, approved. Kung saan ang happiness doon tayo.”

Unexpectedly, Matteo brought up the past issue of Julia’s current boyfriend Gerald Anderson, particularly about ghosting.

“‘Di ba Gerald Anderson defined the word ghosting?” Matteo asked.

However, Julia became uncomfortable with the question prompting her to bring up Matteo’s past.

“It’s not the first time I heard it ha. You know why? The first time I heard that word actually may nagkwento sa akin about Matteo Guidicelli,” she said.

When asked if he remembered ghosting anyone, Matteo claimed to have been taken off guard.

“Nakalimutan ko na. Memory gap yata tawag dun,” he repied while laughing.

“Actually nakalimutan ko pero binalik mo. ‘Wag na natin i-mention sino ginanun mo,” the actress said.

Although Julia did not drop any names, netizens believe that the actress was alluding to Jessy Mendiola.

Eventually, Matteo apologized, saying his actions were impulsive.
