Amid Vhong Navarro’s arrest, Jim Paredes showed support to Kat Alano
JIM PAREDES – The legendary OPM artist took to social media wherein he expressed his support to Kat Alano amid the arrest of Vhong Navarro.
It was on Monday, September 19, 2022, when Vhong surrendered to the NBI Quezon City office to file bail on acts of lasciviousness warrant issued by Metropolitan Trial Court Branch 116 in Taguig City.
However, even before the bail process was completed, another arrest warrant was issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 69 of Taguig City for r*pe.
The charges were filed by model Deniece Cornejo.
The actor-TV host is currently being detained at the National Bureau of Investigation-Security and Management Section (NBI-SMS).
He might be transferred to Taguig City Jail as per the request of Cornejo’s camp.
Amid his arrest and detention, Kat Alano took to the microblogging site, Twitter wherein she shared that she was overjoyed by the turn of events on Navarro.
As expected, she earned massive criticism, especially from the supporters of Vhong Navarro.
While she continues to receive negative comments, she earned the support of OPM singer, Jim Paredes.
“I believe you Kat,” he wrote.
It can be recalled that it was in 2014 amid the issue Vhong Navarro was facing, Alano claimed that she was once molested by the actor-television host.
But unlike Deniece Cornejo, Roxanne Cabañero, and Mai Fajardo who filed charges against him, she chose not to file a complaint against him because according to her, #RhymesWithWrong is surrounded by influential people at the time.
