Teenager found dead under a bridge in Cavite
CAVITE – A 16-year-old girl was found dead under a bridge in Trece Martires City on Monday, September 12.
The victim, identified as alias Ann, was found under the bridge with missing clothing and a wound on her neck.
According to the victim’s father, told him around 10 pm, Sunday, that she was going to sleep at her sibling’s house a few blocks away.
After an hour, Ann immediately left their house but did not tell anyone where she was going.
The following day, around 8 a.m., the father tried to search for her before finding her under a bridge in Brgy. Cabuco.
The victim’s father said that his daughter has no other dreams aside from finishing her studies.
“Gusto niya po maahon kami sa hirap, pangarap niyang maging pulis o kaya’y sundalo,” he said.
According to Police Lt. Col. Jonathan Asnan, officer-in-charge of Trece Martires-PNP, there were five persons of interest identified who were behind the crime. Allegedly, they were construction workers visiting their barangay.
Asnan said that they are waiting for the examination if the victim was molested or not.
Recovered from the crime scene are a red hat, brief, knife, and slippers.

Meanwhile, the authorities are still investigating the incident. They are now trying to locate the whereabouts of the persons of interest who have been considered suspects.
