The mother of Princess Marie Dumantay has spoken up about the case of her daughter
PRINCESS MARIE DUMANTAY CASE – The mother of the 15-year-old cyclist from Bulacan who was found lifeless recently has finally spoken up.
Earlier, a 15-year-old cyclist from Bulacan was reported missing.
Days later, the victim was found lifeless in a grassy area at the bypass road in Bustos, Bulacan.
It can be deduced that the victim suffered torture from the suspect after burns were found in the different parts of her body.
On Friday, August 19, the suspect in the killing of Dumantay was arrested in his home in Pamplona, Camarines Sur by the operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group – CamSur.
The suspect identified as Gaspar Madredano Maneja Jr. or known as Jose Francisco Santos went hiding after committing the crime. Before heading to his home, he stayed in a forest somewhere.
The suspect faces multiple charges following the death of Princess Marie Dumantay, the 15-year-old cyclist. He was already turned over to the Bustos Police.
Meanwhile, the mother of the victim is thankful for the immediate arrest of the suspect.
Perlita Conde, the mother of Princess, believed that the suspect has an accomplice in killing her daughter.
“Bilang magulang, sa aking pakiramadam, hindi lang ito nag-iisang gumawa sa anak ko. Alam kong mayroong kasama itong gumawa sa anak ko. Alam mo, konsensya mo ‘yung ginawa mo sa anak ko,” Conde said.
