Meanwhile, a sepulturero or cemetery caretaker in Palawan gave his opinion about the remains found alleged to be Galleno.
In an interview with Radyo Bandera Philippines, the reporter first told Jerry Tabang, a caretaker at the Puerto Princesa City Cemetery about the bones since he has not seen them.
“Medyo maitim na siya…” reporter said.
The sepulturero replied: “Kung ganun status po nun, matagal na po yon. Kasi pag bago lang namatay, mga isang buwan o dalawa, malansa pa yan at saka may laman-laman pang natitira yan,”
He added: “Itong utak, yung utak natin, parang gatas yan eh, yung utak natin ang pinakamalansa,” he said. “Kung may formalin, maputi pa rin siya.”
The reporter explained that the area where the bones were found is forested and it is possible that the corpse was eaten by some wild animals.
But the sepulturero stressed: “Sir, kahit kainin pa ng bayawak, yung utak, hindi basta maano yun sa loob ng bungo.”
