Sandra Lemonon has given birth to her first child.
SANDRA LEMONON — The beauty queen recently took to social media to announce that she has given birth to her first child with her fiance, basketball player Sol Mercado.
Over the weekend, Sandra and Sol announced on their respective social media accounts that they welcomed their son, baby Zaiah Rafael Mercado, at exactly 10:07 pm last June 21.
According to Sol, their baby measured 22 inches long and weighed 8.3 pounds upon birth. The basketball player also shared photos of himself holding their newborn child.
Sandra Lemonon responded to Sol Mercado’s social media post, saying that her fiance is the “Best Papa & Life partner” and she and their baby are blessed to have him in their lives.
“Best Papa & Life partner. Zaiah & I are so blessed to have you in our lives,” she wrote.

For her part, Sandra shared the first photo of her baby only last July 3 as she gave birth to her first child last June 21.
Among those who congratulated the couple were Hannah Arnold, Rachel Peters, Catriona Gray, and Maureen Wroblewitz.
It was last March when the couple announced that they were expecting their first baby together. The two made the revelation just a day after they both announced that they were engaged.
“Our baby boy. #KingZ I’ve always imagined myself having a little baby boy. For it to actually happen is a surreal feeling,” Sandra Lemonon wrote at that time.
Sandra and Sol’s engagement came months after the beauty queen first confirmed her relationship with the basketball player last September 2021.
