Sandra Lemonon and Sol Mercado are now officially engaged.
Beauty queen Sandra Lemonon and basketball player Sol Mercado recently took to social media to announce that they are now officially engaged.
Sandra and Sol recently shared the exciting news on their respective social media accounts along with a photo of Sandra’s engagement ring.
“(Infinity) with you @m3rcmywords. I love you. 11/03/2022. 5:00 pm,” Sandra wrote.
Sol responded to Sandra’s post on Instagram, saying that he’s blessed to be able to “do this journey alongside you, Mi Corazón”.
Among those who congratulated them were beauty queens Katarina Rodriguez, Catriona Gray, Samantha Bernardo, Rachel Peters, Bianca Guidotti, and Hannah Arnold, among others.

Sol, for his part, also shared a photo along with a short-but-sweet message for Sandra.
“Everything that is YOU @sandralemonon, is all I ever needed!” Sol wrote.
Sandra responded to Sol’s post on Instagram, saying that he’s an amazing human being and she feels blessed & happier with him by her side and for infinity.
It was last September 2021 when the beauty queen first confirmed her relationship with the basketball player.
Sandra competed in Miss Universe Philippines in 2020 and finished as a semi-finalist. Sandra also joined Miss World Philippines in 2016 and Binibining Pilipinas in 2018.
Sol, meanwhile, is a player for the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) as he has played for teams Meralco, Rain or Shine, Barako Bull, San Miguel, and Ginebra.
He is the ex-fiancé of actress Denise Laurel as they called off their engagement in 2016.
