Pokwang whose real name is Marietta Subong is a comedian, actress, television host, and singer.

She started in a reality show on ABS-CBN and subsequently appeared in dramas and sitcoms on the network.

She also received the Best Comedy Actress award from the Philippine Movie Press Club for her portrayal in the sitcom Aalog-Alog and the Best Female Comedian award from the People’s Choice Awards.

She became a host of the variety shows Wowowee, Pilipinas Win na Win and Happy Yipee Yehey.

On the other hand, Alden whose real name is Richard Reyes Faulkerson Jr. is an actor, host, singer, and entrepreneur.

His showbiz career started when he starred in GMA Network’s afternoon soap, Alakdana wherein he was paired with actress Louise delos Reyes.

He also starred in the teenage series, Tween Hearts, One True Love, Carmela, The Road, Imagine You and Me, Victor Magtanggol, Hello, Love, Goodbye, The Gift, and The World Between Us.

It was in 2015 when he became part of the Philippines’ longest-running noontime variety show, Eat Bulaga!

He first appeared on the show as a host in the segment “That’s My Bae”.

At one point, he was unintentionally paired with his Eat Bulaga! co-host Maine “Yaya Dub” Mendoza during an episode of the “Juan for All, All for Juan” segment.

They instantly became a love team, dubbed as AlDub.

Because of their popularity, Eat Bulaga! created a mini-series for AlDub labeled by Joey de Leon as Kalyeserye. In Kalyeserye, Richards plays different roles including a fictionalized version of himself and as Anselmo.

For Pokwang, Alden Richards is the kindest person she has ever worked with in showbiz.
