AXEL TORRES – The former Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) housemate speaks on meeting his ex-girlfriend AJ Raval a year after their breakup.
The actor revealed that a year after his breakup with the actress, their paths crossed just recently.
He shared their first meeting in months during the virtual story conference of the series Katawang Lupa directed by Joey Javier Reyes.
Since he has a project on Vivamax, the basketball player-actor was asked if it’s okay with him to work with AJ.
Then, he revealed that they met last night, July 8.
“Pero nag-pretend na lang ako na she wasn’t there,” he admitted.
“She was beside us pero kunwari, hindi ko siya…kasi parang… kasi first time uli namin nagkita since nangyari yung before,” he added.
In his later statement, it can be deduced that he’s still not open to working with AJ yet.
It can be recalled that it was in May 2021 when AJ publicized her relationship with Axel. However, the next month, the couple got separated.
In an interview last August 2021, AJ revealed that Axel was not in favor of her “d*r*ng” image in movies, prompting them to end their relationship.
AJ Raval, the daughter of action star Jeric Raval, admitted that she has decided to focus on her career instead of her love life.
Until October 2021 when Axel chided AJ by dedicating the song Traitor to his ex-girlfriend.
At the time, the sweet photos of AJ and her rumored boyfriend Aljur Abrenica spread on social media.
