A Facebook user named Jonell Calisin has shared his inspiring story and posted photos of his humble home, which becomes his inspiration to work hard. The post quickly circulates online and garnered praise from social media users.

Jonell Calisin has finally finished his college education after more than a decade. He started college in 2010 but graduated in 2022 because of poverty. He also worked to support his education.

Unfortunately, Calisin was forced to stop from school for almost three years after losing his job as a gasoline boy. After quitting from school, he worked as a merchandiser and factory worker to save money.

After saving enough cash to support his studies, Jonell returned to school but failed numerous subjects. After eight and a half years, he finally completed his dream course despite the hardships he went through.

The latter revealed that he thought of giving up his dreams during hard times but gets motivated every time he remembered their ‘tagpi-tagpi’ house. He also encouraged his fellow students to trust the process.
