Upcoming concert of Vice Ganda in the UAE, elicit comments
VICE GANDA – The upcoming concert of the Unkabogable comedian in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has drawn negative comments from netizens.
Jose Marie Borja Viceral also known as Vice Ganda, is a comedian, talk show host, television presenter, actor, entrepreneur, and singer.
He is a regular host on ABS-CBN’s noontime variety show It’s Showtime and has starred in several films, eight of which are considered to be the highest-grossing in Philippine cinema.
Vice started out as a singer, then as a comedian for Punchline and The Library, whose owner Andrew de Real gave him the stage name “Vice Ganda”.
Vice is currently gearing up for his upcoming concert in the United Arab Emirates in August 2022.
However, some netizens are not interested in his said show.
In an article posted by “The Filipino Times” on the social networking site, Facebook, netizens are rallying in the comment section not to show up in the concert of the comedian even, for instance, it’s free.
Instead, netizens commenting on the post who are said to be overseas Filipino workers (OFW) prefer to watch the concert of rapper Andrew E.
It was just recently when the rapper, who trended during the previous election because of his support for BBM, announced that he’s going to have a show in Dubai this coming October 29, 2022.
Here are the comments of some netizens in the said post:
Meanwhile, according to columnist Cristy Fermin, Vice’s concert in the UAE was postponed several times due to their low ticket sales.
She added that ice’s camp said they canceled the comedian’s concert in the UAE due to the death of President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
But Cristy insist that was just a reason for Vice’s camp to cover up their low ticket sales.

Yes all above maybe correct and the same is now happening to the Andrew E shows that were due to take place in Abu Dhabi on Oct 22nd, Dubai on Oct 23rd and Bahrain on Oct 28th tat are now postponed since yesterday until December.
Low ticket sales again and an organiser dodging the inevitable cancellation that will come. How the hell was he ever going to fill those venues when he was playing bars and clubs in the US in much smaller venues. Bong Bong supporters might have supported him during the elections but that was free and part of the election campaign. Selling to the public is a different ballgame.
