ANDREA BRILLANTES — The Kapamilya actress recently revealed that she was never aware of “bashing” when she entered the show business several years ago.
The actress recently opened up about her journey in the limelight as she joined other Kapamilya stars on the June cover of fashion magazine Mega.
She joined Francine Diaz, Charlie Dizon, Belle Mariano, Alexa Ilacad, and Jayda Avanzado on the cover, which is paying tribute to Star Magic’s 30th anniversary. The Kapamilya stars talked about being part of the storied “Star Magic” that catapulted many finest stars in the showbiz industry to stardom.
“This June, meet the young, groundbreaking individuals whose influence is a testament to the talent agency’s decades of successfully creating stars and icons,” the fashion magazine wrote in the caption of an Instagram post.

Andrea revealed in an interview with Mega magazine that she was never aware of “bashing” when she entered showbiz because she didn’t see the world that way. She added that she only knew love, happiness, and positivity as a kid.
However, the actress realized later on that there are bashers and fault-finders no matter how good her intentions are.
“Madaming tao na di ka maiintindihan. Madaming tao na ’yong actions mo kahit good intentions ’yan, puwede pa rin nilang maliin,” Brillantes added.
She also acknowledged that she continued to learn a lot in the show business despite having spent 10 years in the showbiz industry. According to her, it is only this time that she learned to grasp the advice she has gotten since she started to become an actress.
Born in 1992, “Star Magic” started as a “Talent Center” before being renamed in 2004.
