Lady Netizen Shares Experience w/ New Housemaid Who Run Away In Less Than a Week After Her Work Started
A lady netizen has shared her experience with her new housemaid who ran away less than a week after her work started.
A Facebook user named Mabel Goo has shared her unforgettable experience with her new housemaid who ran away in less than a week since her work started. The post goes viral after it was posted online.
Mabel narrated that she was happy after having a new helper after waiting for months. She did not require her new worker to wake up early in the morning and even allowed her to take a rest around noontime.
One day, she decided to take care of her baby around noontime but went to the bathroom shortly while her new helper is taking a rest. Everything seems to be fine until she decided to check the maid in her room after an hour and a half.
Goo found the belongings of the new house helper on the bed and all garbage in the kitchen was all cleared. She realized that the maid ran away while she was in the bathroom and pretended to take out the trash.
The lady netizen checked the CCTV footage and witnessed her employee’s modus. She also found two sharp fragments of mirrors from the suspect’s bag, which were supposed to serve as weapons if she was caught.

“Got our new helper after waiting for months and she ran away in LESS THAN A WEEK Funny thing is I was at home when the incident happened.
The story goes like this, it happened last week, around 10:30am that morning she told me that she would take a quick rest in her room, she usually only rests around 1pm as we didn’t require our helper to wake up early in the morning (I’m not a morning person LOL). However, I didn’t think much when she told me that, I thought maybe she’s just extra tired that day so I continued babysitting while she took her rest. The whole time I was either in the living room or bedroom with my door opened. I only went to the bathroom once shortly after she went into her room.
After over 1 and a half hours, I went to look for her in her room but to my surprise all I could find was her belongings and a tidy bed. The rubbish bins in the kitchen were all cleared. We suspected that she pretended to take out the trash and ran off during that few mins when I was in the bathroom.
Our agent told us before that she doesn’t have a handphone therefore she called her family using our phones while she was here. However, when we checked on the CCTV footages, we saw her sitting outside the lobby with a handphone (we don’t know how/when/whom she got it from) waiting for her taxi! One of our neighbours said our helper actually asked him to tap her down to the exit while they’re in the lift. He suspected and took a photo from her back, but still helped her out because he thought maybe she could be one of the hourly part-time maids.
All these time we never went through her bags nor touched her belongings because we trusted our agent and we had her passport for safekeeping. Few days after she left, we decided to check her bags and we were shocked when we found TWO BIG, SHARP FRAGMENTS OF MIRROR (we believe she’s planning to use them as weapons/for self-defence just in case we caught her running off). The mirrors weren’t from our house. She came with those mirrors, obviously came all prepared to run away. I still remember one day before she left, she asked me what is the date and I even gave her a calendar
Since my 6 month-old baby was in the living room, he literally watched her off. Thank God she did not carry my baby along nor do him any harm. We’re actually glad that she left successfully because with her intention, keeping her is a threat to our family. Sharing our experience here so that you guys can be extra careful when getting a helper. After she ran off, we immediately brought her passport to the police station to report (just in case she does anything illegal outside that can cause us trouble since we hired her first).”
