Here’s the message of Bayani Agbayani to critics of Senator-elect Robin Padilla
BAYANI AGBAYANI – The comedian defended Senator-elect Robin Padilla against his critics after leading the senatorial race.
Bayani started his showbiz career as a host in the defunct GMA-7 show, “SST: Salo-Salo Together.”
He has been in various shows on ABS-CBN and TV5.
The comedian appears on television as the host of the noontime show, Lunch Out Loud (LOL).
On the other hand, Robin is an actor, politician, screenwriter, producer, and director.
He is known as the “Bad Boy” of Philippine cinema for portraying anti-hero protagonist gangster roles in films such as Anak ni Baby Ama, Grease Gun Gang, Bad Boy, and Bad Boy 2.
He has also been dubbed the “Prince of Action” of Philippine cinema.
Padilla is also active in television programs, having played lead roles in Basta’t Kasama Kita, Asian Treasures, Joaquin Bordado, Totoy Bato, Guns and Roses, and Toda Max.
Robin, a neophyte, led the senatorial race with over 26 million votes.
In an interview, the comedian defended the senator-elect against his critics.
“Hindi po ito labanan ng talino, labanan po ito ng puso, political will, at pagtulong sa tao,” he said.
“Sa mga kumukuwestiyon, hayaan po niyong magtrabaho lahat ng nanalo, tulungan po natin sila dahil ito po ay para sa ating bansa,” he added.
Bayani is the celebrity host during the campaign rallies of the UniTeam (Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Sara Duterte). Robin became an adopted candidate of said party.
