Tippy Dos Santos and Miguel Porcuna are now officially married.
Former MYX VJ Tippy Dos Santos and her partner Miguel Porcuna are now officially married as they tied the knot on Thursday.
Tippy and Miguel tied the knot after postponing their wedding last January amidst the spike in coronavirus cases in the Philippines at that time.
They had a Christian wedding and their reception was hosted by Tippy’s former batchmates at MYX, Ai dela Cruz and Robi Domingo. At one point after the ceremony, Tippy serenaded Miguel by singing her own rendition of Ebe Dancel’s “Bawat Daan”.
The couple got engaged on Christmas Eve in 2020, 4 years since being together as a couple.
They talked about how they first met in a vlog last February 2020. According to Tippy, she met her partner through her cousin a few years back.
She also shared that she declined to go with Miguel to the concert because she didn’t really know him that well yet during that time. Fast forward to October 2016, Miguel shared that he dreamt of Tippy twice.

“Sabi ko, baka may sinasabi sa akin ‘yung cosmic forces or baka si God. Tinext ko si Yen and si Chot. Tinanong ko sila ‘Should I act on this? Try ba ulit?’ Si Chot sabi niya, ‘Maybe the universe is telling you something so just patiently wait for it.’ Si Yen, ang reply lang niya, ‘Magkasama kami ni now, may party kami and we are leaving for the States tomorrow,’” Miguel recalled.
As if fate was playing cupid, Tippy took the same flight that Miguel was in. He offered to take her and her mom around after they met on the plane, and that was when their love story started.
