Mariel Padilla had these âparanoidâ moments in the past
Celebrity vlogger Mariel Padilla recalled the times when she would call seasoned talk show host Boy Abunda and would ask if she is no longer relevant.
In the world of entertainment, celebrities come and go and there are a few who savor the longevity of their careers while some chose to take a different part.
On the other hand, there were those who reached the point of being âlaosâ as their popularity has just died down no matter how they try to revive their careers.
In the case of Mariel Padilla, even during the height of her career as a host, she would still feel that she was âlaosâ. In Ogie Diazâs recent YouTube interview, the wife of senatorial candidate Robin Padilla recalled the time when she would have three live shows in one day.
This was prompted by Ogieâs question if she misses showbiz because it has been a while since her last project. Mariel took a break from showbiz when she got pregnant and chose to focus on her family.
âI met Robin when I was doing three live shows on a Saturday,â the former TV host said. Mariel said that she was glad she was able to experience that busy schedule. âFeeling mo artista ka kasi segue, segue ka, alam mo yun,â she said.
She also shared that when times came that her stint in Pinoy Big Brother has ended, she would call Tito Boy while crying.
She said that she was not used to that setup in the past when she can go home after doing the defunct noontime show of Willie Revillame. Mariel admitted that was her mentality when she was younger. However, she does not regret taking a break from showbiz for her family but admits that she misses hosting.
