Jimmy, who is the former appointed vice president for community relations of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), shared that he supported the presidential bid of Mayor Isko.

Kahit mukhang huli na ako sa party, nais ko lang po officially i-announce – kay ISKO po ako sa pagka-pangulo,” Jimmy said.

According to Jimmy, he still couldn’t change his decision to support Mayor Isko’s candidacy even though it’s “almost certain” that presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos will win in the upcoming elections.

Jimmy also said that he supported the vice-presidential bid of Davao City even though he said that he “loves” Mayor Isko’s running mate Doc Willie Ong.

He cited and explained election-related dynamic, political, and personal reasons why he decided to #SwitchToIsko.

I want to help make ISKO winnable, at least for the Senate on 2025, or to at least remind the public of how good he was as a Mayor of Manila,” Jimmy said. “Sa edad niya, marami pa po siyang mararating, and it will be good for the country kung mailuklok siya.

According to Jimmy, his vote for Mayor Isko is “a conscience vote, coupled with a FAINT HOPE that we might still make a NEW name win”.

On the other hand, he said that it looks like Bongbong will win based on the pre-election surveys. ABS-CBN News reported that the camp of former Senator Bongbong Marcos revealed that their target percentage of voters’ preference in pre-election surveys is 70%.

Aside from Jimmy, fellow celebrities Vivian Velez, Billy Crawford, and Nina also supported the presidential bid of Mayor Isko.
