A video wherein a man can be seen heckling at supporters of Robredo including Jillian at the Baguio City Public Market is making rounds online.

But the man in the video identified as Cliff Lewis explained why he ended up confronting Robredo’s group.

According to him, the said group was allegedly blocking the road at the market and some shops were also disturbed due to their campaigning.

He begged Robredo’s group not to block the road but one of the Kakampink said something that pissed him off.

“Kasi po ito ang sinabi sa akin kahapon, noong sinabi ko po na ‘excuse po, padaan po kasi nagmamadali ako’ ang sagot sakin ay ‘wala akong pakialam, ang importante ay iboto mo si Leni'” he said.

Then, Lewis started to heckle Jillian’s group. He even shouted: “Igorot ako, kayo dayuhan lang kayo.”

Meanwhile, Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong apologized to Robredos over heckling incident.

“This is why it is with deep regrets that the city officialdom extends sincere apology to Ms. Jillian Robredo, daughter of our esteemed Vice President and presidential candidate Leni Robredo, over the unfortunate heckling incident at our public market, while visiting the place,” he said.

“We treat everyone with utmost fairness, with nothing but the very best experience our visitors can have while in our midst,” he added.

Meanwhile, Robredo is running for president together with her running mate Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan.

They will go against the tandem of; former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and Doc Willie Ong, Senator Manny Pacquiao and Buhay partylist representative, Lito Atienza as well as Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson and Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto III.
