BBM is not the candidate of Duterte according to former actress Vivian Velez
VIVIAN VELEZ – The former actress believes that presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. is not the candidate of President Rodrigo Duterte in the May 9, 2022 elections.
This, after the president, said in his speech in Narvacan, Ilocos Sur that it will be up to the people if they choose an “Ilokano” to replace him.
“In my Cabinet, apat o tatlo na lang kaming Bisaya, ang naiwan puro mga Ilokano na. Kaya ibigay ko na lang ‘yan… aalis na ako sa Malacañang. Mamili na kayo kung sinong Ilocano na leader ang ilagay ninyo doon,” he said.
But according to Velez, netizens did not understand what Duterte meant in his speech.
Here’s her statement on Facebook:
In another post, Velez gave “hint” who might Duterte support in the presidential elections.
In some photos that she shared on social media, the hand sign of Yorme Isko was predominantly displayed in the PDP-Laban proclamation rally.
Vivian Velez is one of the staunch supporters of Isko Moreno.
Moreno will run for the highest government position alongside his running mate Doc Willie Ong.
They will go against the tandem of; Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, Senator Manny Pacquiao and Buhay partylist representative, Lito Atienza as well as Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson and Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto III.
