Here’s an update about the security guard vs the son of Cong. Teves incident
JOMAR PAJARES – The security guard beaten by Kurt Teves, son of Negros Oriental 3rd District Representative Arnie Teves, has filed a sworn statement.
The son of Cong. Teves made headlines after he was caught on camera together with his companions beating a security guard named Jomar Pajares at BF Homes in Parañaque City.
In an interview, the victim shared the attack started when he told the son of the lawmaker that they are not allowed to enter the subdivision since they don’t have a residential sticker.
According to Pajares, another gate is open for those who do not have a residential sticker but a motorist entering the said subdivision should leave an identification card.
Kurt Matthew Teves left the scene and returned with his companions onboard another vehicle. When they got out of the vehicle, they talked to Pajares, however, they ended up beating the security guard.
But before the mauling, the son of the congressman challenged the security guard for a shootout.
Last March 26, Pajares faced the lawyers who will help him file charges against the son of Cong. Teves.
The security guard denied that he went hiding because he was afraid to file a case.
“Hindi ako nagtatago! Nagpahinga lang ako at sinigurado ko na ligtas ang asawa at pamilya ko,” he explained.
Some party-list that pledges to help Pajares include “Frontliners Ang Bida” and “ACT-CIS.”
Meanwhile, on March 28, Pajares filed his “sworn statement” against the son of Rep. Teves.
The security guard is now under the protective custody of broadcast journalist Ben Tulfo.
The camp of Teves has yet to issue any statement with regards to Pajares’s filing of a sworn statement.
